When people ask us how we met, it delights Ron to tell people that we met at the world famous dive bar Elbo Room. I walked in with some girl friends and Buzz for Sunday Funday and as we approached the bar, Ron offered to buy drinks. Liquid courage of choice - fireball shots! We quickly realized we had a mutual friend, Tammy. As the evening came to a close, I ordered pizza to head home to watch Narcos. Ron joined under the guise that he liked the show too but talked through the entire episode. We exchanged numbers and Ron left to go home and walk Little Vinny. Before he left, he was looking at all the pictures on my fridge and confidently told me he would eventually make the fridge. He asked me if I wanted to go to dinner the following day and I initially declined because it was a Monday and busy week. The following morning, I called Tammy to get the scoop on Ron. She had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. When I hung up, I immediately text him and asked if the offer for dinner was still open. We went to Taverna Greek Islands and have been inseparable ever since. We waited a very long time to find each other, but it was well the worth wait!
